  • REMP joins the Tecan Group.

  • Sale of the first –80°C Storage System.

  • Sale of the first Mid Size Store (MSS) to Amgen, Cambridge MA, USA.

  • Delivery of the first DSP (Dosage and Solution Preparation) to Boehringer Ingelheim, Biberach, Germany.

  • First APR (Automated Plate Replicator) put into operation for Bayer, Monheim and Boehringer Ingelheim, Biberach, Germany.
  • Market introduction of REMP 96 Tube Technology.
  • Founding of subsidiaries REMP GmbH (Germany) Waldems, Germany and REMP Nippon AG with branch office in Tokyo.

  • Second growth financing round with another equity partner.

  • First SAS (Sample Administration System) installed at Aventis.

1998

  • First storage system including complete building put into operation at Aventis, Frankfurt, Germany. REMP responsible as general contractor.
  • Founding of the subsidiary REMP (USA) Inc., Boston MA, USA.

1997

  • First storage system put into operation for Boehringer Ingelheim, Biberach, Germany.
  • Co development of 384 Tube Technology with Roche, Basel, Switzerland.

1996

  • Delivery of the first systems (vial storage and powder dosing station) to Sandoz (now Novartis), Basel, Switzerland.

1994

  • Entry into the field of laboratory automation in the Life Science market.
