The REMP Small-Size Store™ (SSS) is a fully automated sample storage and retrieval system, that fits perfectly into any research laboratory. The REMP SSS™ complements existing sample storage systems and is an ideal entry-level storage solution, which includes the innovative REMP Tube Technology™ for applications in pharmaceutical, agricultural, biotech or other Life Science research.
In addition to REMP's Tube Technology™ consumables, the REMP SSS™ can store and retrieve numerous other microplate types, which conform to the ANSI/SBS Microplate Standards, such as those used for temporary storage of prepared mother plates for screening.
The REMP Small-Size Store™ is ideal for stand-alone use or can easily be integrated into any robotic system using the instrument's single transfer position for loading/unloading consumables.
Software control of the REMP SSS™ is accomplished through the REMP Application Programming Interface (API), which is used extensively in larger REMP sample stores. It has been well–tested and documented. The API of the SSS™ offers immediate access to the comprehensive world of REMP Sample Management Software packages.
Future growth of sample libraries is often difficult to predict. Adding up to two extension units to the Small-Size Store™ triples the storage capacity with minimal initial investments. These units can also be relocated easily within your facility if there is ever the need to move.
Every instrument needs service and maintenance. The SSS™ is designed for easy service access resulting in quicker servicing and shorter instrument downtime. Cassette racks within the SSS™ can also be removed entirely and transferred to another manual freezer within minutes, if there is ever the need to service the entire system.
