Automated Plate Replicator

APR is an ideal complement to REMP storage systems as a "workhorse" for the production of plates and tubes.

APR (Automated Plate Replicator) is a module for batch-wise diluting, copying and reformatting of plates (DWP and SWP) and REMP tube racks (96 & 384). Standard procedures are [96 to 96] [96 to 384] [384 to 384]. The combination of 96 / 384 head pipetters allows even complex reformat and copy procedures within the same run.

APR covers the whole process, from spinning and piercing of the source plates to the protection and closing of the destination plates applying inert gas and heat seals.

Features
  • Batch-wise loading and processing within REMP storage racks:
    Source Plates, Piercing Lids, Pipetting Tips, Dest. Plates (2 types).
  • Configurable for different plate types und REMP tube racks.
  • Method Editor allows to define a variety of Pipetting Procedures.
  • APR is designed for long periods of unattended operation, with a throughput of up to 1'000 destination plates per shift.
  • APR offers an open data interface (API) and is fully integrated in REMP's SAS (Sample Administration System) environment.
