DSP (Dosage & Solution Preparation)

DSP (Dosage & Solution Preparation) is a module to get solids (powder) into solution.

DSP (Dosage & Solution Preparation) is a module to get solids (powder) into solution. The batch-wise process includes the production of mother plates, where DMSO is always protected by inert gas.

Vials equipped with dosage caps containing powder are automatically dosed into weighing tubes and diluted afterwards to produce standardized solutions (mMol or mg/ml). This mother solution is then distributed into deep well blocks 96 and/or into REMP 96 tube racks.
Plates are closed with heat seals and tube racks are closed with caps or are also heat sealed, whereby each tube is closed individually.

Features
  • Batch-wise loading and processing within REMP storage racks:
Vials, pipetting tips, target plates and tube racks.
  • Customizable for different vial types
  • Batches are configurable to produce different plate types und tube racks with different volumes at a unique concentration.
  • DSP is designed for long periods of unattended operation and a yearly system throughput of 100'000 compounds, utilising one shift per day.
  • DSP offers an open data interface (API) and is fully integrated in REMP's SAS (Sample Administration System) environment.
